When we hear the word tour, our mind travels associatively to a specific image, that of the group of numerous tourists who, crowded, follow the tour guide by foot. Εμπνευση αποτέλεσε η προσωπική ανάγκη των ιδρυτών να γνωρίζουν «εκ των έσω» τα μέρη τα οποία επισκέπτονταν, ακόμη κι αν δεν είχαν εκεί κάποιο φίλο ή γνωστό.

The idea of Athens Insiders was born in 2012 by four fellow travelers, Anthia Vlassopoulou, Daphne Tragaki, Natali Kontou and Konstantinos Koukoulis. The inspiration was the personal need of the founders to know "from within" the places they visited, even if they did not have a friend or acquaintance there.

Vorspeise! Warum also nicht mal wie die Locals auf Tsipouro-Mission durch die Bars ziehen? In Athen gibt es nämlich überall unglaublich viele kleine Bars und Kneipen, wo man abends schön draußen sitzen und das Treiben beobachten kann. Und wer das Ganze gern zusammen mit Einheimischen machen möchte, dem sei eine Tour mit Athens Insiders empfohlen.
