"We had such a great time on our food/wine/beer tour! Our guide, Panos, was extremely knowledgeable about the local foods and drinks. We started at a small cafe for coffee and a cheese pie and followed it up with a few more hours of meats, cheeses, beers and wines and good times! We were able to set the pace and just enjoy it. Panos was a great guy to hang out with and an amazing musician. We didn’t get a live performance, but his music was playing at our final stop (a really nice wine bar)!! Highly recommend this tour!"

My boyfriend and I went on the Flavors of Athens tour while visiting friends in Greece last month. We spent our first day or two seeing the sights and by day four we were looking for something different. Since we're foodies, we picked the above. Our guide, George, brought us to some fabulous locations and his affable personality made my day. Worth every penny!
Thoroughly Enjoyable Afternoon Out
First and foremost, Athens Insiders did a great job of accommodating a last-minute tour request. I wouldn't have blamed them if they had decided to say "too bad, too late, maybe next time", but they worked with me throughout the day before my tour to customize the experience. Our guide, Yannis, was incredibly knowledgeable and an overall interesting guy. He showed us areas of the city we wouldn't have thought to explore otherwise and shared stories of Athen's past and present while helping us explore the Greek food scene. It was fun, relaxing, and we learned a lot.
